6. Concept

Nail the creative spine — tone, arc, motifs — before you split the song into acts and shots.

Concept is your creative thesis: why this video exists, who it’s for emotionally, and the motifs that repeat. It feeds Acts, Shot scaffold, and Shot direction — so getting it clear before structure saves rework.

The app asks you to finish Inputs, Song read, Environment prompt, and Environment chat (with the world look applied) first. If something’s missing, you’ll see a short message pointing you back — that’s expected.

What this step is for

One shared north star before you carve the song into sections and shots.

What to do

  1. Skim what came out of Song read and Environment.
  2. Generate or write concept copy — metaphor, tension, hooks that repeat.
  3. Edit until you (and anyone else who decides) agree.
  4. Approve / lock when it feels frozen.

Good to know

  • Tie ideas to imaginable shots (“macro skin glitter”, “security-cam interludes”) so Acts and scaffold aren’t vague.
  • If you later unlock Concept, revisit Acts — structure should match the thesis.
